Our first encounter will take place when you arrive at
the port.
We will be near the ship waiting to meet you at 8:00
am.
We are then off in search of the "real" Tuscany
among the beautiful rolling hills so pure and untreated.
Small simple towns filled with stories of the past. You
will see how oil and wine are made using traditional methods
used for hundreds of years and are going to have the opportunity
to taste the products. You may also be given useful tricks
and techniques on how to make such natural and wholesome
creations.
San Gimigniano
Once in San Gimigniano "The Medieval Pearl", we
will visit the walls and towers that surround the town.
It almost feels like "a secluded piece of paradise".
The most important square gives us an amazing view of the
valley. Obviously, you will have the opportunity to do some
shopping or simply to take a relaxing stroll along the main
streets of the town.
Lunch at Monteriggione
Once again, on Via Cassia, the road that crosses the valley,
we will stop at Monteriggione, an antique medieval village
from the 13th century. Here you will be able to lunch upon
typical local dishes accompanied by an exquisite glass of
Tuscan wine.
Siena
We shall arrive in Siena in the early afternoon and start
by visiting the most significant 12th century church?The
Duomo. On to the famous Piazza del Campo, which is the focus
of Siena's civic life. Here the Corso Del Palio is held,
the famous horse races of medieval origin that are held
twice annually. Piazza Del Campo is dominated by the Palazzo
Pubblico, which is considered the symbol of civic liberty
for the Sienese. It is the highest tower, topped by the
celebrated Torre Del Mangia. Because Sienna is situated
among several winding hills and valleys, most of the sights
must be visited on foot but walking among the narrow roads
of this village seems to transport you to another time,
filled with a beauty that is surreal and almost magical!

The return to the Porto of Livorno is at 6.00pm
