We will meet directly by the boat and then we shall accompany
you to the centre of the city where we shall start your
private tour. After leaving the port at a distance of around
45 minutes, our first stop will be the famous Circus Maximus
where millions of people celebrated the victory against
France for "The World Cup". We shall then continue
on only to come upon one of the most recognized monuments
known, The Coliseum. Obviously we will go directly through
the entrance gates without waiting any lines or queues?as
the Romans like it. We shall visit The Forum of Caesar,
The Forum of Trajan and ascending up Capitoline Hill to
admire the splendid panorama of the Roman Forum.
At this point in the tour we will have an opportunity to
go towards Venezia Square, famous for one of the most beautiful
monuments in Rome, " Altar of the Nation" or also
known as "The Wedding Cake", we?ll stop at the
Spanish Steps and the Fountain of Trevi, where there is
the age old tradition of throwing a coin into the fountain,
guaranteeing your return to Rome. Off for a lovely stroll
towards Navona Square where the famous "Fountain of
Four Rivers", by Bernini, stands in the centre of the
square. And then over to The Pantheon along with so much
more?
Through all this you will have a car or van at your disposal
with your own personal driver and guide, a Roman born native,
fluent in English. He or she will be able to provide you
with profound knowledge of art history and interesting tid-bits
that will satisfy all your curiosities and quench your thirst
for knowledge!!
