In this itinerary, we have tried make the most out of an
ordinary day by touching upon the ?must sees? and the most
interesting spots throughout Pisa and Florence.
Relive history and let yourself be astounded by two of
the most beautiful cities in Italy. Their elegance and distinctiveness

After having met near the ship, we will depart for Pisa.
Within 20 min, we will arrive at our first stop? The
Leaning Tower of Pisa, standing a height of 183
ft on the lowest side and 186 ft on the highest side, this
freestanding bell tower has given Pisa most of its fame
and popularity.
Next stop, The Battistero that is said to be where
Galileo Galilee was baptized in 1564. From Pisa, Florence
is only an hour away.
Once in Florence we will start by visiting Michelangelo
Square to admire the fantastic view of one of the most
beautifully artistic cities in the world.
We will continue on to Signoria Square and its Palazzo
Vecchio, the political headquarters from the 12th until
the 15th century, The Basilica of Santa Croce (Holy
Cross), frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue. You then will be
able to get a glimpse at the "Scuola Del Cuoio"
or ?leather shop?. It was created through the collaborative
efforts of Franciscan friars of the Monastery of Santa Croce
and the Gori and Casini families in order to give orphans
the chance to learn a practical trade and a possible future.
From Santa Croce Square we are headed towards Florence?s
best-known symbol, "Ponte Vecchio" also
known as "Ponte d'Oro".
It is known as "Ponte d?Oro" for the simple reason
that it houses many amazingly exquisite jewellery shops
full of precious jewels and gems. Continuing through the
lovely lanes of this marvellous city, we will arrive at
the Duomo and will be able to admire the ?Cupola?
created by the master? Brunelleschi and the famous Giotto's
Tower.
At this point, we have two alternatives; a simple lunch
at one of the most beautiful squares in Florence with a
delicious sandwich or fresh salad or to sit down in one
of Florence?s many fabulous restaurants and decides among
a variety of superb local dishes accompanied by a glass
of Chianti. Normally a lunch will go between 25 and 30-euro
lunch and wine included the tip is purely at your discretion.
Then Galleria dell?Accademia and Michaelangelo's David'
In a 10 min drive we will arrive at "Piazza Cavour"
which houses the Galleria dell? Accademia to give homage
to one of Michelangelo?s most fantastic creations, the statue
of "David".
The museum can be visited in around 20 min while the entrance
into the museum will be favoured based on our pre-booking.
This is done so as not to lose precious time.
From the museum, we will take the road back touching upon
"Santa Maria Novella Square" and Pitti's
Palace, erected by the Medici family, while the Uffizi
Gallery was the location for their private collections.
We will return to the Port of Livorno at 6:00pm

The visit to The Medici Chapel and the Uffizi Gallery are
not included in our Day Tour, for your driver guide is not
authorized to accompany you inside the museum walls. The
italy dream limousines can offer you, if interested, one
of our local tour guides for both museums at an extra cost
of 190 euro for three full hours.
